This is a true story of Three men on their journey to making music.....

Before we can dissect Moe's (Mountains of Europe's) history we must go back to the beginning.  Sam would be annoyed on the way home from middle school by Daniel, the 6 foot tall religious freak, and  Sean was probably developing his goldeneye skills in Youth Venture. Short story shorter, they all wound up going the El Cajon Valley High school ( a years difference between them). As outcasts amongst their peers, Sam and Daniel became part of the Gorospe family, who had befriended both. Sean met Sam in Drama Club a year later and was introduced to Daniel. All three began their Drama career and became very close and Daniel became Tabb . Music wasn't the most important to the three at the time (Tabb had played drums for his church previously but not prevalently) and Sam was just discovering the beauty of music through Radiohead. Some how Tabb and Sam got their hands on some old shitty guitars and were off learning the likes of "Karma Police" and "The Bends". The idea of a band was crazy and exciting for Sam and Tabb who began searching for a band name. The after math of this excitement were names such as: Hoi Poloi, Chumbrella, and Hodge Podge... amongst others. Sam's good friend Curley was flipping through the same dictionary and stumbled on our current band name. While on the other side of El Cajon Sean bought a bass guitar in an attempt to win his way into the band... and he did so with little effort. During the first show, at an acquaintances house, the band borrowed a drum set (which they kept) and which Tabb was placed in charge of (because of his previous experience) and at the end of summer '02, MOE was an official three piece band and soon there after began evolving their own songs. Sure there have been hard times, and most likely harder to come, so hopefully they will evolve with their musical ambitions...but who knows.
